So, do uWant the iPhone5 still?

iPhone 5 was announced this morning slightly less than a year after the announcement of iPhone 4S on the on the 4th October 2012.

Actually, I was pretty disappointed with the announcement. Partly because practically all the leaks came out to be 100% accurate so it somehow spoils the fun. Secondly, THAT’S ALL APPLE? I AM SO NOT IMPRESSED. 😦

On the bright side, Singapore will be part of the first rollout of the iPhone 5. This is the first time for iPhones. I am glad that Apple decided to upgrade Singapore to “first class” citizen since the launch of the new iPad (aka iPad 3).

The iPhone 5 will be available in Singapore, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the US and the UK on Friday, 21st September 2012 and pre-orders start this Friday, 14th September 2012.

iPhone 5 will roll out to 22 more countries (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland) on 28th September 2012.

Gmail goes Mobile?

Gmail Mobile by JESS3 from JESS3 on Vimeo.

By creating characters out of the familiar and favorite Gmail features, everything from the stars to the threaded conversations take on their own identity and purpose. The original marching band soundtrack sets the upbeat tone as the characters excitedly peel off from the laptop interface and confidently march their way into the iPhone browser. What took around-the-clock weeks of tender love and care into making the props and the stage transformed into an epic 30-second spot for GMAIL.

Well done!

Love is …

Have you ever wrote 30 over SMS messages and deleted it over and over again? Is it that difficult to send someone a simple message without emotional guilt and reservations? I tried and I failed miserably. I lost count of the number of times I pressed the “DELETE” button after having written about 2 pages of words. In this modern age it’s so easy to avoid facial contact and emotional entanglement with just a simple text message.

And yet at this very age called modern times, I going through prehistoric pains to just send a god-forsaken message. It’s not that I am writing him a novel or dissertation and yet I can’t seemed to press the “SEND” button!

As such I conclude that Love is not only blind, it is also mute, deaf and dumb!
